garage door opener battery issues 3

It's always a hassle when your garage door opener starts acting up, and nine times out of ten it's the battery. You press the button from the driveway, and nothing happens, or maybe it only works if you're standing right next to the motor. I've learned to swap out the little 3-volt lithium cell every year, before winter hits, because cold weather seems to drain them faster. A quick test with a multimeter saves a lot of frustration.
